Meet Kathleen
My Story
Kathleen was born in Colorado and began taking riding lessons at 6 years old. Her passion for horses has never stopped growing since that time. She initially rode Western before starting to learn English and advanced to competing in hunters and jumpers when her family moved to the east coast in 2000. Through riding a variety of horses, Kathleen honed in on her passion for starting young horses under saddle as well as enjoying the work of problem solving with more challenging horses. She was fortunate to begin working as the assistant trainer for Jessica Forliano in New Hope, Pennsylvania in 2014. Jessica is a John & Josh Lyons Certified Trainer, and under her tutelage, Kathleen continued to learn and refine her skills of starting young horses under saddle, problem solving training issues, and competing in show circuits throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey for 6 years.
Mission & Vision
Kathleen decided that she wanted to make training her full time career and pursued the John & Josh Lyons Trainer Certification. She travelled to Rifle, Colorado and completed her certification in 2020. Kathleen ended up moving permanently to Colorado where she grew up and began Devine Horsemanship.
She continues to use the skills she has learned from her mentor, Jessica, as well as John & Josh Lyons as she works with a variety of horses today.
